A local self-help group open to
anyone affected by depression. The
group meets every Tuesday from 7pm -
9pm.

Disorders
Self Help
Offering support to those
experiencing an eating disorder and
an opportunity to share personal
experiences and coping strategies.
The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays
of every month from 7.30pm - 9pm.
There is also a Carers group
open to all carers of people with an
eating disorder or those living with
someone who they think might have an
eating disorder. This group meets on
the 4th Thursday of every month from
7.30pm - 9pm.

Together
Social drop-in for anyone (16+)
feeling down, alone, or simply
wanting company or something to do.
The group is an opportunity to meet
others and have a friendly chat.
The group meets every Wednesday from
2pm-4pm at CornerHouse. It also
meets at the Lakeview Social Centre
every Thursday from 12noon - 4pm.

Shifa
- Asian Women's Group
Established specifically for Asian
Women with emotional health
problems, this group concentrates on
the complex cultural and spiritual
needs of its Asian women members.
Meetings are held on Thursday
morning from 9.30am - 12.30pm and on
a Friday morning from 9.30am -
11.30am.

Woking Mind
The group is affiliated to
Mind, the national mental health
charity, providing support,
friendship and help to people who
live in the Borough of Woking, and
who experience difficulty with their
mental health.
Woking Mind offer social activities,
an art group, a creative writing
group and a music group, as well as
free Internet access in the
CornerHouse IT room.
